Just before Easter we went to see Finch which was quite good, but since I've done hella reviews in the past I'm going to get Beth or someone to review them for us : ) I spent the Easter at home so I missed the What A Mess Records launch but luckily Howards Alias were playing with Jesse James at the Forum and they brought up some copies of the What A Mess CD with them. I promise I will either review it, interview the guy or go to the second launch night. In the meantime, go out and buy it, it's really good. There's lots of little UK bands like Howards Alias and Poindexter on it as well as some big hitters from the USA like Anti Flag. I went to see Farse again (also at the Forum) but didn't pay this time, I know it's sneaky but the support sucked so much. Sorry about the lack of updates but we've got a new non-punk project on the boil that we'll tell you about in due course, and Tom's got himself a skateboard so we've been caning our elbows and knees.
New this week - reviews of a Jesse James gig and a Poindexter CD.

Well I went back to Chelmsford in Essex, where the last live rock/punk music venue within thirty miles closed down three months ago and there is only one indepentant music shop. I kept insanity at bay only by locking myself in my room with my CD collection and throwing stones at the local chavvy school children from my window. Needless to say I didn't see any gigs.
Essex sux.
